Discover Valdobbiadene, or the «valley of Duplaviis», the Piave River

At Nino Franco, every grape is born in the prestigious Conegliano-Valdobbiadene appellation. Hand-harvested, our grapes are vinified in the historic heart of Prosecco, recognized as the finest expression of quality. Our vineyards, small parcels nestled within the municipality of Valdobbiadene, give life to unique and iconic cuvées: Riva di San Floriano, Nodi, and Grave di Stecca — true “Grand Cru” Prosecco wines, perfectly attuned to their terroir of origin.

The soils of Valdobbiadene are a treasure of diversity: deep, enriched with clay, minerals, and iron, they impart elegance and complexity to our wines. In Conegliano, the rolling hills rest on silty-loamy soils, giving more structured wines. The “Mandamento” of Valdobbiadene, by contrast, is steep and demanding land: sometimes fine-textured, sometimes gravelly, forcing the Glera roots to plunge deep underground. From this struggle are born refined Prosecco wines, with subtle aromas, delicate acidity, and a savory minerality — celebrated worldwide for their elegance and irresistible drinkability.
